When my daughter lost her phone in a canoe capsize, she was promised no less than a dozen times over a period of a week that Customer service would 'escalate to corporate' and get her a new phone. Finally she was told that because she has only been a customer for 15 months, she has to wait 3 more months for a phone.

What?!!! And Credo doesn't allow customers to use any phone other than those they sell to them. And since there are no physical offices for this company, they get away with impunity for total lack of service to customers. COMPANY WITH A CONSCIENCE?!!!!!

No conscience whatsoever!

So my daughter's reward for trying to make a socially conscious decision for a cell phone provider has taught her a new lesson: Just because a company has labeled itself a certain way doesn't mean it abides by that label. No idea how they stay in business at all.

The other reviews indicate that switching to a new carrier is also made as difficult and costly as possible by Credo, but at least now we are forewarned.

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Monetary Loss: $600.

Preferred solution: Allow no cost exit from exit.

Credo is garbage. They sent me a defective phone and knew it.

They ignore me.

They have ZERO customer service and switching services took 2 days. I have never had more than a bar of service.
